Hashflare Update — 2/14/2018

There has been a lot of activity in the crypto world over the past week. BTC crossed the $9000.00 USD mark once again, alt coins have had massive swings and there’s a lot of excitement around the LN network. I feel the next few weeks will still be a bit of a wild ride, but the outlook for 2018 looks good. Even JP Morgan thinks so.

Here’s my summary of my past week of Hashflare. Read my original review here.

Before I go through my account this week, I want to first start with BTC’s rising in price. Hashflare is once again showing that cloud mining does work. Are there more profitable ways to use your USD, yes! Is HF a good way to grow BTC, yes. And as HF charges maintenance fees based on USD, the increase in price means more BTC earned daily. I believe that a bigger BTC portfolio will matter more in the future than the current price of BTC. And, that is what I want to grow. HF is giving me a way to take my initial BTC investment and grow it.

Second, I want to talk about withdrawal of BTC. I still have not taken possession of BTC from HF. But I have actually seen it done. How? The person who originally showed me HF showed me his withdraw request and subsequent Tx. I know you’re just taking my word for it, but that is what it is. Withdrawals take a little time, but they do process. HF batches the transactions.

I stopped reinvesting with HF on 2/2/2018, days ago. Since that time, my 9.46TH/s has earned me 0.00782348 BTC. At this rate, I expect my first full 0.05 BTC withdraw to take a total of 76 days of mining. Likely a little more if the difficulty goes up. Or maybe less if BTC continues to rise in price and my fees cut into my BTC earnings less.

My actual BTC balance since stopping reinvest

I’m going to continue to withdraw. But again, HF is still proving to be a great way to mine BTC without the headache of dealing with an actual ASIC miner.

If you find this helpful and want to take the next step and start cloud mining yourself, please use my referral link to Hashflare here.

Note: I do not have any personal interest in Hashflare. I’m just a customer.
